Myles Linley – Drawings and Paintings of Leeds
EXHIBITION OPENING
SATURDAY MAY 11TH 2013 – 1PM TO 4PM
Myles Linley was born in Yorkshire in 1967 and studied Fine Art at Harrogate College and then Bristol Polytechnic from where he graduated in 1989.
For this exhibition of drawings and paintings Myles Linley has explored the areas of Leeds where he spent time as a student and has drawn inspiration from its rich architectural and cultural heritage.
A gifted and expressive draughtsman, his uninhabited streets and foreboding skies are heavily poignant and a poetic response to the human condition as well as the changing face of the city.
We are pleased to be exhibiting these new works by an exciting and serious contemporary artist and hope to see you at the exhibition opening on Saturday May 11th from 1pm to 4pm.
